Every child MATTERS
Stichting Young Refugee Cause (YRC) aims to provide durable and high-quality education for young refugees and undocumented and stateless children anywhere in the world and perform any further operations, related to this purpose in the broadest beneficial sense. We also provide software solutions that include gamified learning, school management software and integration with Google for Education. YRC is a not for profit organization seeking to achieve its objective through partnerships, engaging with local charities and working closely with local representations of international companies and non - governmental organizations such as the UNHCR to be able to achieve a mutually beneficial framework and adequate funding over time.
YRC's first initiative was a joint venture with IDEAS (Malaysia’s cross-partisan think tank dedicated to promoting market-based solutions to public policy challenges) to establish a secondary school that now offers education to over 145 young refugees with a total of 175 students. Ideas Academy is currently transitioning from a charity to a non-profit social enterprise. YRC's mission is to ensure that all underprivileged & refugees have access to education through self-sustainable activities.

unlocking human potential when it matters most
IDEAS Academy believes in education for all. Education holds the key to global citizenship which is something that no one regardless of background, race or economic situation should be denied. Our primary aim is that every child between 12 and 18 years old should gain a strong secondary educational foundation to become a responsible, confident and compassionate citizens of tomorrow.
United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states in article 26, “Everyone has the right to education”. This statement is now more important than ever as the children of today face an uncertain future, which is increasingly competitive, internationalized, and shared. IDEAS Academy is supported by and works closely together with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
